November at Padure Manor – A Month Full of Work, Celebrations, and Memorable Events

November was an eventful month at Padure Manor, bringing together new friends, collaborations, and significant restoration efforts, all in a festive atmosphere. Here’s a look at the highlights of this month, combining the manor’s history, community support, and plans for the future.

The Beginning of the Month: Youth Visit and Park Cleanup

At the start of November, Padure Manor welcomed a group of young people from the Riga Children, Youth, and Family Social Support Center, accompanied by the center’s director. They not only helped tidy up the manor’s park but also enjoyed a wonderful time amidst the manor’s serene atmosphere. This visit showed how the manor serves as a place for collaboration and creating unforgettable memories.

International Experience in Leipzig

From November 6th to 11th, we proudly participated in the prestigious Denkmal Messe in Leipzig, an exhibition dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historical buildings. This event allowed us to present Padure Manor and its plans to an international audience. We established valuable contacts with industry experts and acquired important restoration tools, including a historical bell button and Speedheater tools, which will greatly aid our restoration efforts.

Youth Support and Collaboration

Padure Manor became a temporary home for two young volunteers from Germany, who joined us via the Workaway platform. They arrived on November 15th and stayed for three weeks, actively helping with maintenance and restoration work. On the same day, we welcomed a group of young men from the Men’s Club, who assisted with various tasks around the manor and started their morning with a refreshing swim in the Padure River.

Guided Tours with Wine and Snacks

November brought many visitors to Padure Manor. A total of 50 people enjoyed guided tours paired with carefully selected wine and snacks. Each visitor left with a unique experience that combined historical stories and the manor’s undeniable charm.

The Launch of the Crowdfunding Campaign

This month marked a historic step for Padure Manor. On November 13th, we launched a crowdfunding campaign via the CrowdedHero platform to raise funds for the manor’s restoration. This campaign offers a unique opportunity to be part of the project by investing in the preservation of cultural heritage and supporting the manor’s future development. Investors benefit not only from financial returns but also from exclusive perks such as discounts on manor services and invitations to special events. By the end of November, we had already raised €6,000, a testament to the enthusiasm and support for Padure Manor’s vision.

Festive Month-End Events

The month concluded with lively activities and celebrations. We hosted Airbnb guests, who enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the manor, and a birthday celebration for a group of 10 guests, who used a gift card to enjoy a splendid evening with beautifully set tables and full glasses. These events highlight Padure Manor’s ability to be the perfect venue for life’s special occasions.
