January at Padure Manor started with a festive spirit – a lively company spent two days celebrating the New Year in the historic atmosphere of the manor. The month brought an intern from France, who translated the Wikipedia page into French and helped with sales texts. Artist Atis Jākobsons continued his work as a resident artist, adding a creative touch to the manor. Meanwhile, our crowdfunding campaign reached its minimum goal and continues towards the maximum. We also welcomed stove master Raivo Zvejnieks and applied for funding to restore the dining room ceiling. A winter storm knocked down an ash tree in the park, but luckily, it caused no damage to valuable elements. The first summer reservations have been made, and guided tours are available for groups of all sizes.

This past year has been filled with memorable events and excitement. We celebrated 8 beautiful weddings—some large, with up to 100 guests, and some small, just within the family. We also hosted 3 lively open-air dances (zaļumballe) featuring well-known Latvian bands...
