January at Padure Manor started with a true festive spirit – a cheerful company spent two days celebrating the New Year, enjoying the historical manor’s atmosphere, the tranquil rural landscape, and friendly togetherness. In the winter quiet, the manor glowed with candlelight, offering guests the cozy charm that only such special places possess.
At the beginning of the month, the manor welcomed an intern from France, who not only had an unforgettable time in the historic premises but also contributed significantly to our international visibility. Thanks to his efforts, the Wikipedia page about Padure Manor is now available in French, and he helped craft compelling sales texts for the French market. Another step closer to making our manor a favored destination for European travelers!
January was also filled with creativity, as artist Atis Jākobsons visited the manor. He is becoming our resident artist, creating works that interact with the manor’s history and the subtle nuances of its architecture. His presence adds a special atmosphere to the manor, and we eagerly anticipate the artworks he will produce in the future.
While creativity thrived, practical work continued – we actively worked on our crowdfunding campaign. We have already reached the minimum funding goal and continue towards the maximum target! We invite you to be part of this historic restoration project and join the future of Padure Manor. More information and the opportunity to participate can be found here: https://ej.uz/PaduresMuiza.
The manor is not just about history and art – it is also a place where craftsmen and restorers gather to revive its historic splendor. In January, we met with stove master Raivo Zvejnieks to discuss potential future projects. We have also submitted an application to the VKKF for the restoration of the dining room ceiling, aiming to restore its historical appearance and enhance its value.
Winter does not come without challenges – the strong storm that swept through Latvia also left its mark on our park. A mighty ash tree was broken, but fortunately, it fell precisely between the historic vase and the rose bed, sparing these treasures from damage.
Despite the winter tranquility, the summer season is already taking shape – the first reservations have been made! If you are planning a wedding, a family celebration, or just a beautiful getaway, we encourage you to book your time now.
We also invite you to sign up for guided tours, suitable for both large and small groups. Learn more about the manor’s history, walk through its timeless halls and park, and enjoy a true time-travel experience to the early 19th century!
January at Padure Manor has been rich in events, and we are already preparing for spring with new projects and more stories waiting to be experienced.
