February at the Manor was a month of contrasts. While nature gifted (or challenged) us with the coldest winter in recent years and impressive snowdrifts, work inside the house didn’t stop for a second. This month proved that even when the roads are snowed in, the path to new opportunities remains wide open.
Construction Plans and International Exchange The thick snow didn’t stop us from actively planning upcoming construction works and events for the new season. We had an interesting experience discussing internship opportunities with students from the French college Excelia. Although the students ultimately chose a less remote location, this contact is a valuable step toward our international recognition. We take pride in our peace and quiet – it is our greatest luxury, even if not everyone appreciates it immediately! 🙂
Padure Manor in Germany February was defined by the “Latvia – Germany” connection. I actively participated in 7 different BNI Germany online groups, seeking new partners and contacts. The digital world allows us to be present everywhere, and the results are promising – new foundations have been laid for future projects.
The highlight of the month was our trip to Berlin from February 16th to 21st. Together with architect and co-owner Artūrs Lapiņš, we attended BNI groups in person in Berlin. Our goal was clear: to position Padure Manor as an exclusive destination for:
-
Romantic weddings
-
Warm birthday celebrations
-
Multi-generational family reunions
We are thrilled to say we were noticed! The Berlin visit brought not only new contacts but also specific interest in organizing retreats in the authentic atmosphere of the Manor.
Peace and Celebrations at the Manor Although we didn’t host public events for Valentine’s Day, the Manor was far from empty. It was fully rented by guests who wanted to enjoy privacy and the charm of the historic house in the heart of winter. This reaffirms that the grand scale of the Manor combined with its coziness is the perfect combination for special moments.
What’s Next? Getting Ready for the Season! Winter is slowly retreating, and we are gearing up for spring work. The calendar is filling up fast:
-
May 14th: Our partners – the Jelgava Seniors’ Association – will hold the “Great Cleanup” (Lielā talka) at the Manor.
-
May 16th: The third Padure Manor Disco! This event has gained massive popularity, so save the date.
The summer season looks brilliant – we already have two weddings, two birthdays, and three art camps booked. Only a few weekends are left!
Come visit and enjoy the Manor! Take advantage of your co-owner benefits and recommend us to your friends. See you in Padure!
