November at Padure Manor began with guests celebrating Halloween. The darker season, candlelight, historic rooms and imagination — all of this works here naturally. Padure Manor is an ideal place for themed events, as the spacious halls and authentic interior allow ideas not to be adapted to the space, but fully brought to life.
The Talsi Social Service also chose Padure Manor to celebrate their festivities and mark the end of the year. Large groups, togetherness, conversations, laughter, and the feeling that everyday life has been left outside the manor walls for a while. Days like these remind us that Padure Manor can host not only intimate gatherings, but also large-scale events — and make them truly unforgettable.
On 13 November, the first school excursion took place in cooperation with the Latvian School Bag programme. It was especially rewarding to see how the younger generation encounters cultural heritage not through books, but in person — walking through the rooms, asking questions, and sensing the atmosphere of the place. The programme description is available here:

In between — a wedding photo session. Quiet conversations and moments captured not only for today, but for future generations. In such moments, the manor becomes the backdrop for stories that will live on. You are welcome to book your own photo session at Padure Manor.
Towards the end of the month, Padure Manor welcomed guests from the Netherlands. Yes, it was a little chilly for them — but their enthusiasm was even greater: for the setting, the calm, and the presence of history that cannot be recreated, only preserved.
We concluded November with a fantastic 80s–90s disco. Around 170 guests attended, many of them from Riga. Energy, dancing, conversations and a truly vibrant atmosphere filled the manor. It was especially delightful to see how many guests arrived dressed in period-appropriate outfits, fully reviving the spirit of the era and its intangible cultural heritage. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive — and deeply inspiring.
Alongside events, we also completed something lasting in November: a 3D virtual tour of the manor’s ground floor, allowing visitors to explore Padure Manor remotely and at their own pace. You can view it here:

November once again confirmed that Padure Manor is not merely a historic building. It is a living place, where every event leaves traces — in memories, photographs and emotions.
