From 24 May, Padure Manor will host Laura Buholte’s solo exhibition Relics – a profound and poetic journey through the still life genre, where objects become vessels of memory and feeling.
These paintings are not about things. They are about what things mean. About objects that may seem simple – yet ignite entire lifetimes within us. About silence that holds love, loss, attachment and hope.
Laura asks:
Why do we hold on to things that have no material value? And where do we place what they mean to us?
This exhibition is an invitation to pause. To listen to the silence. To see what often remains unnoticed in everyday life.
