All this time, while I am working in Padure Manor restoration , visitors and locals tell about the great celebration of the Midsummer that took place here in Soviet times. We have decided to restore this tradition. It will not be a simple sitting, but a full-fledged Midsummer celebration with traditions and master classes, with a crown weaving and jumping over the campfire. Merry music will be provided by the popular chapel from Snēpele “Kā ir, tā ir”
There will be a Jāņi Cheese tying workshop where you will learn how to tie a genuine Jāņi cheese, which you can then enjoy. There will also be a Jāņi Crown Weaving Workshop where you will be able to weave a crown for yourself and your loved ones from your flowers and branches. Straw dolls tying workshop.
Of course, the burning of the Midsummer’s campfire and swimming in the bare in Padure River nearby.

There will be a buffet with beer, wine and snacks.
For those who do not want to go anywhere, take tents. You can wake up in the manor park.
